How you can help. We want to follow up the work already undertaken, (see accompanying newsletters) and work undertaken in 2001, and 2002.

We are currently supporting an individual who is trying to gain access to train as a nurse in Uganda. She is already highly skilled in Operating Department Practice, she got her experience in another African Country (Zimbabwe) and her qualification is not recognised in Uganda.

She is in the process (Jan 03) of writing a brief career plan (she has already developed her cv) so that we may search for charitable funds to support her education. It will cost 100 per month to support this project, for a period of three years. She will need text books in addition to this finance. Can you help?

Other projects: We have two other highly skilled nurses with great potential to be leaders in Nursing in Uganda, whom we are sure we could support more ably, if we are able to source computer hardware, software and most particularly achieve a link to the internet. This will provide distance support in the future and access to best practice information. Can you help?
